We are professionals who work with your child, and their school, to provide insight into their individual learning style.
What we do.
School Psychologists
School Psychologists are uniquely qualified members of school teams that support students' ability to learn and teachers' ability to teach. They apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. School Psychologists partner with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community.
Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs)
SLPs provide services to support the instructional program at a school. SLPs determine how students' academic strengths and weaknesses relate to speech, language, and communication disorders. To do this, SLPs collect relevant student data in various contexts, develop intervention plans, and provide services in collaboration with others to meet students' educational needs. SLPs' unique contributions complement and augment those made by other professionals who also have unique perspectives and skills. Working collaboratively with school staff and families in planning, designing, and implementing programs is crucial.
Hill Country School Psychology Services offers contract services to private, public and charter schools to complete on-site psychoeducational, behavior, physical therapy, and speech and language assessments at an affordable price.
